Biomagnetic Acupoint Therapy is the application magnetics to the practice of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Magnet Care
You may wash and shower when you have your magnets in place; the addition of kinesio tape helps to keep them in place for the full 5 days.
To remove a magnet, simply lift up the edge of the tape and peel it away. The magnet should still be attached to the tape. If it is not, check to see if it is still on your skin. Discard the magnet and tape once it is removed.
Cautions and Considerations
Although problems with magnets are rare, daily examinations are important. It is important to be aware of any changes in the skin, such as persistent itching or prolonged redness or pain.
Remove the magnet immediately if it causes you any discomfort at any time, including while sleeping.
Pain, soreness, swelling, redness, heat, or persistent itching may indicate an infection or reaction to the adhesive tape. As soon as any of these symptoms are present, remove the magnet, consult a physician, and contact your practitioner.
